मंविवि से विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह के तहत निकाली गई जन जागरूकता रैली
अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ नर्सिंग एंड पैरामेडिकल साइंसेस विभाग द्वारा विश्व स्तनपान सप्ताह का आयोजन एक से सात अगस्त तक किया जा रहा है। शुक्रवार को विश्वविद्यालय प्रांगण से ग्रामीण महिलाओं को जागरूक करने के लिए जन जागरूकता रैली निकाली गई। रैली का शुभारंभ कुलपति प्रो. पीके दशोरा ने झंडी दिखाकर किया। कुलपति ने कार्यक्रम के आयोजन पर बधाई देते हुए कहा कि यह एक महत्वपूर्ण अभियान है। समाज के लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए समय-समय पर इस प्रकार के जन जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाने चाहिए। इस अवसर पर कुलसचिव बिग्रेडियर समरवीर सिंह, परीक्षा नियंत्रक प्रो. दिनेश शर्मा, प्रो. आरके शर्मा, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी गोपाल राजपूत, तरून शर्मा आदि उपस्थित रहे।
इसके बाद विद्यार्थी हाथों में स्लोगन लिखी पट्टिकाएं लेकर नारे लगाते हुए किला गांव की गलियों से लोगों को जागरूक करते हुए गुजरे। गांव में छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा नुक्कड़ नाटक का आयोजन किया गया। नाटक के माध्यम से उन्होंने महिलाओं की शंका का समाधान करते हुए बताया कि मां के दूध का कोई विकल्प नहीं है। शिशु को जन्म के एक घंटे के अंदर स्तनपान करवाए और शिशु को छह माह तक केवल स्तनपान कराए, मां का दूध शिशु के लिए सर्वोत्तम आहार हैं। स्तनपान माता के स्वास्थ्य के लिए भी फायदेमंद है। यह कैंसर, हृदय रोग, और मधुमेह के जोखिम को कम करता है। प्रधानाचार्या डा. लेखा बिष्ट ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर नगर पंचायत अध्यक्ष राज सिंह, सेंथिल, नितिन कांत, नेहा कुशवाह आदि थे।
